A Powerful Farewell to 2024: A Year of Challenges, Strategy, Excellence — and the Beginning of an Even Greater 2025
Thank you, 2024. Truly. What an intense year—from the very first second to the last. A year filled with challenges of every kind, all faced and overcome with competence, strategy, and intelligence. We express our gratitude to God, our families, our team, our friends, and every partner connected to CSi. Our deepest thanks. And may 2025 be even better—though truth be told, it has already started with full force.
We began 2024 immersed in the overhaul and recovery of crane slewing bearings. From small machines to large cranes, we handled a wide variety of them throughout the year. This is one of CSi’s core specialties: precise diagnostics, complete removal, expert refurbishing, and professional installation—always following the quality standards required by all manufacturers. A full-service approach with maximum excellence.
We also carried out numerous technical crane inspections—detailed, rigorous, and highly technical. These inspections included complete structural assessments of the machines and their many components: diesel engines, transmissions, pumps, slewing bearings, winch drums, hydraulic cylinders, and safety devices. Every inspection included full verification of load moment indicators, overload protection systems, and safety mechanisms, ensuring maximum operational reliability.
Daily technical consultations were also part of our routine—guidance involving telescopic cranes, lattice boom cranes, marine cranes, and many other heavy equipment applications. Our mission was the same every day: to support clients, partners, and friends with technical precision, ethics, honesty, and the best possible cost-benefit.
We also conducted strategic technical work related to judicial processes. With deep expertise and well-structured arguments, our technical reports and responses directly influenced decisions that protected our clients from high financial claims. Carefully crafted technical questions led justice-appointed experts to positions aligned with the actual facts—favoring our clients.
Throughout 2024, many critical components were refurbished at CSi—slewing bearings, winch drums, planetary gearboxes, and their braking systems. Every repair followed the highest quality standards, ensuring maximum reliability and productivity in the field.
We also delivered several training programs during the year. From large online sessions—such as the crane manual review for one of the largest steel companies in Brazil, with nearly 100 highly qualified participants—to hands-on operational training in the field. For 2025, we already have a major technical workshop scheduled for approximately 300 strategic offshore professionals, focusing on the functioning, inspection, and maintenance of winch drums and planetary gearboxes.
Technical audits for supplier approval within major industrial plants were also frequently conducted. These assessments evaluated safety practices and technical management across sales, engineering, operations, and maintenance departments.
One of the most memorable moments of 2024 was the sale of our first crane to the United States—specifically to Texas. A historic milestone for CSi. We had known that crane since the day it was delivered to its original owner. Our involvement included a detailed technical inspection, a comprehensive report, and absolute transparency from beginning to end. The result: complete satisfaction from everyone involved.
Another highlight was our recurring role in supervising complex lifting operations. These tasks always require technical skill and experience—and 2024 was no different. One operation stood out: we had to correct critical planning errors and mitigate serious risks. Fortunately, everything ended safely and efficiently.
Accident investigations also remained part of our routine—fortunately, all without casualties in 2024. Despite the high potential severity of the incidents, such as tip-overs, fires, and structural damages caused by lack of inspection and maintenance, our technical findings were always conclusive, resulting in solid action plans and important improvements for all parties involved.
2024 was also a major milestone in business development. It marked CSi’s first participation as an exhibitor at M&T Expo in São Paulo, alongside our German partner ZOLLERN—a traditional global manufacturer of planetary gearboxes and winch drums for heavy equipment in highly demanding industries.
To close the year, CSi crossed the globe and landed in Shanghai, China, to participate in BAUMA—the largest heavy equipment fair in the world. This opened essential new frontiers and further strengthened our international presence, allowing us to offer increasingly strategic and intelligent solutions to our partners, friends, and clients worldwide.
And now, as 2025 begins, the momentum is already extraordinary. Multiple projects underway, hundreds—yes, hundreds—of machines scheduled for inspection, more slewing bearings to recover, components to refurbish, major workshops on the agenda, strategic partnerships forming… and the year hasn’t even officially started.
The refurbishment of heavy equipment and strategic partnerships at our facilities will be a strong trend in 2025. With more than 30,000 m² of industrial area in Guaratinguetá/SP, we are already negotiating complete recoveries of large machines, along with high-level new partnerships.
We move forward with the feeling of mission accomplished in 2024—delivered with excellence—and fully aware that many challenges await us in 2025. Challenges we will face with knowledge, experience, strategy, and intelligence, qualities well known as trademarks of CSi.
May 2025 be a wonderful year for all of us. And thank you to everyone who is part of this story of hard work and success.
